Ed is Director and Head of the Calgary Office and  brings over 32 years’ experience in the oil industry having worked at Calgary-based companies MEG Energy, US Oil Sands, ET Energy, Ivanhoe Energy, Synenco, and PetroCanada(now Suncor). His expertise is in the operations, upgrading, refining, transportation and marketing of conventional and oil sands crude having worked with various companies to develop oil sands strategies related to new technology innovations. He also consulted for companies to implement partial upgrading programs and develop crude by rail strategies. At TM&C, Ed contributes to consulting assignments in the areas of crude oil market assessment, crude and feedstock valuation and heavy oil upgrading technology evaluation and was a key contributor to the TM&C study team assessing Market Options for Clearing Alberta Bitumen. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary.
