Skip is a highly accomplished global energy professional and brings a wealth of experience and strategic thought leadership to the firm from previous positions with Exxon in Corporate/International Planning, Reliant Energy as Director Fuel Markets Analysis and most recently as Head of Commodity Strategy & Portfolio Strategy Development with BHP/Woodside Energy. Skip’s consulting background includes senior positions with McKinsey & Company, Charles River Associates and Wood Mackenzie where he built trusted relationships with client senior leadership on international, multi-industry engagements involving M&A transactions, commercialization endeavors and other strategy initiatives and validations.
Skip holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia and conducted a post-doctorate study in Applied General Equilibrium Modeling at the International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis, Vienna, Austria as a Ford Foundation Fellow. His undergraduate work was at the University of Wyoming where he continues a relationship with the School of Energy Resources.
