Ken is a seasoned energy executive with more than 30 years of experience across the midstream sector, specializing in terminal and pipeline operations, commercial strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and asset growth. He is known for building scalable growth platforms, optimizing high-value infrastructure, and delivering durable EBITDA and shareholder value.
Ken works with private equity sponsors, trading companies, and energy infrastructure operators on project development, acquisitions, and commercialization strategies across crude, natural gas, NGLs, refined products, and emerging energy transition assets including SAF, LNG bunkering, and methanol.
Prior to his advisory work, Ken served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at NuStar Energy, where he led commercial strategy for a U.S. terminal network generating more than $800 million in annual revenue in complex, highly regulated markets, achieving 98 percent customer retention and executing multiple accretive expansion projects. He also held senior commercial leadership roles at Texas International Terminals, where he drove bolt-on growth through acquisitions, greenfield development, and market expansion.
Throughout his career, Ken has built and led commercial teams, negotiated complex contracts with blue-chip customers, and delivered significant EBITDA growth through disciplined infrastructure and market execution. He brings a hands-on, cross-functional leadership style and a deep understanding of terminal logistics, customer economics, and midstream market dynamics to his client work.
